In the seminary, the spiritual formation is designed to help students to live in an intimate and unceasing communion with God. It is attained first and foremost through the liturgical celebrations, monthly recollections, daily meditations, spiritual talks, visit to the Blessed Sacrament, and other spiritual exercises. Group prayer, camaratha (where brothers lives) meditation, batch meditation, batch rosary and batch Mass are conducted on stipulated days.
Apart from common spiritual instructions, each student has a spiritual director who guides him through spiritual conferences. There is opportunity for confession every day early in the morning and on Tuesday evenings. The service of extraordinary confessors are made available to the students every month. Besides Monthly recollections there is Annual retreat which lasts for four days. The students benefit also from daily spiritual reading, bible reading a day of adoration etc. There are four chapels in the seminary. St. Thomas chapel is the main one where the whole community gather together to celebrate the Sacred Liturgy. St. Joseph chapel and St. Mary’s chapel are provided for the priests to celebrate holy Mass and also for the students to make their personal prayer. Sannidhanam, where the Eucharistic is exposed is dedicated to solitary prayer.
